It’s an early-1900s apartment on Rotundo Street in Vilnius Old Town.

The original stucco, antique flooring from a historic estate, and the old fireplace form the backbone of the space, while vintage Scandinavian and Danish pieces add depth and character.

Natural light moves through the rooms from morning to evening, shaping the atmosphere.

In the living room, the Ball and Shade pendant by Square and Circle, the Balls Table by KOS Studio, and mid-century icons set the tone: dining chairs by Yngve Ekström, a Totem chair by Torstein Nilsen – the same shown at the National Museum in Oslo – and a Danish Bobbin chair from the early 20th century.

The palette is calm and tactile: wood, tonal veneers, travertine, aluminum, textured paints. The kitchen was refreshed with new hardware; the bathrooms were restored with a mix of original tiles, new finds from Italy, and soft architectural lighting.

The interior also reflects the homeowners’ lifestyle. They read a lot, so we created library with books passed down through several generations and selected furniture designed for slow, comfortable reading.
